Nasal Fracture & Primary Rhinoplasty Case 10: Rhinoplasty
This young woman living in Manhattan, NY broke her nose, but also wanted a cosmetic change. She had a bump that worsened after the nasal fracture, but also wanted a prettier nose that fit her face more. When we look at one another, our eyes track between the eyes of the other person and down to the lips. Anything that distracts from the tracking interferes with our brain's interpretation of beauty. This is a good example of how improving the shape of the nose makes the woman's whole face look better. The rhinoplasty was a success.
