Primary Rhinoplasty 3: Rhinoplasty
This 20 year old woman wanted her hump reduced and her nose made less prominent. She had no difficulty breathing. Rhinoplasty was performed, focusing on reducing her hump, improving the ultra-narrow bridge while supporting her weak upper lateral cartilages, and improving the relationship between her tip and upper lip. After surgery, her bridge is straight, her tip has an elegant slope, and her upper lip is not as pulled-up looking . Her smile (not shown) improved significantly. Notice on the oblique view how her upper lateral cartilage (the side wall of the nose) has been supported so it is not as indented. Most importantly, on the oblique and frontal views, notice how much prettier her eyes and face look.
