Rhinoplasty Case 15 African American woman: Rhinoplasty

African American woman wanted more refined nose that was less long and droopy, with a more defined tip. Although her thick skin interfered with the definition achieved with rhinoplasty she still had significant improvement. Men and women of color are particularly challenging in rhinoplasty, especially as they get older. With age, weak cartilages and thick skin are difficult to reshape with rhinoplasty. Certainly rhinoplasty can make improvements, as seen in this case by Dr. Constantinides.
