DR. MINAS CONSTANTINIDES: You can’t be alive today without knowing about BOTOX. Everyone either has heard about it or has had it. Here in Manhattan, there are many, many patients who come in with a lot of experience with BOTOX, sometimes not great experiences.

And what we try to do is make sure that we're using BOTOX in a way that tailors to the patient’s needs. BOTOX can be used in a number of different interesting ways these days. We've been treating patients who have lines and wrinkling all the way into the eyelid.

By treating the lower eyelid closer to the nose, we can really smoothen it out and make it look a lot better. Many patients have something called bunny lines, or little lines that form around the nose when you smile or when you sing.

And in those cases, BOTOX can help with that. Finally, when you get the downturned look at the corner of the mouth, by injecting a little BOTOX into the muscles that are pulling the mouth down, we can give the corner of the mouth a little upturn, which is a really elegant, graceful look that some have just lost as we get older.

Finally, BOTOX can be used in the neck for those wrinkled or lines down the neck that develop as we get older. You don’t need a facelift or a neck lift. Sometimes just a little BOTOX can flatten the neck and make you look a lot better.
